Oakland’s New Wave of Top Women Chefs

Any females in the house? You betcha. It seems especially timely to profile top female culinary talent in light of the recent Time  fiasco, aka “Gods of Food,”  which featured three male chefs on the cover and not one woman chef in its pages. The international issue caused quite the controversy.

Here, we’re keeping it real and local. In the Winter issue of Edible East Bay we spotlight outstanding women chefs in Oakland who are bringing their talent to the table.
